Reconfigurable Controls Platform
One mechanism, many controls problems.
A modular physical platform intended to move from balancing and estimation exercises toward drawing, manipulation, and small automation experiments.
Not for saleA learning machine is more valuable when its geometry, dynamics, controls, and evidence can change without rebuilding the entire platform.
A platform instead of a single trick
The reference plan uses shared mechanical and software contracts so that balancing, estimation, drawing, and manipulation exercises can reuse a meaningful portion of the same system.
Configuration is part of the experiment
Geometry, mass properties, sensors, actuators, limits, and controller parameters need explicit configuration rather than assumptions buried inside example code. That makes comparisons reproducible and gives each mechanism a clear learning purpose.
Current boundary
This is a reference plan. Geometry, actuator selection, fabrication process, bill of materials, curriculum, and physical evidence are not frozen.
